My name is Deb, welcome to my little corner on the internet.
I started this blog as an outlet for my passion of DIY, home decorating and all things crafty. I have always enjoyed decorating and making our house a home. I tend to have million dollar ideas that are limited by an annoying little thing called budget. Fear not! I love thrifting, love the challenge of finding a diamond in the rough and giving it new life, love seeing a $$$$$ item and making it for$$.
This blog also stems out of my desire to keep up to date with technology. I’m definitely not starting from square one, but this experience, thus far, has been challenging. It’s a learning process that excites me. I don’t know exactly the path that this blog will take, but I do hope you join me on this journey.
I am mom to an amazing daughter and wife to an equally amazing husband. My daughter and I enjoy crafting and cooking together. My husband, well I call him Mr. 99%. He lends the muscle when needed and translates my ideas into reality. He is a patient man….very patient!
The Nitty Gritty
This blog is a personal blog written and edited by me. The views and opinions expressed in this blog are purely and entirely my own. I do not claim to be nor make an effort to be an expert on a certain topic, product or service. I will only endorse companies, products and services that I believe, based on my own experiences, are worthy of endorsement. All product or service claims should be verified with the manufacturer or provider. If I review a product I will tell you in advance and give my honest opinion, good, bad or otherwise.
Please note that I take pride in my photos, presenting the best possible view of my subject. This might make it seem that everything behind the camera is picture perfect as well. Rest assured that is not the case, I’m probably in black yoga pants, hair in ponytail and dishes in the sink. Yep, I’m raising a family and my home does not always reflect what you see in my photos. Just keeping it real friends!
Thanks for stopping by!
